Hi Lindsay: I had some thoughts about your research but my email to you got bounced back.
Here are some links that may help you in your study of elearning:
To see a demo of Keene State's online education, Ed2Go, go to http://www.keene.edu/conted/onlinecourses.cfm, click on the Ed2Go link, then click on Demo.
To see a demo of the Franklin Pierce online learning site, go to http://www.keene.edu/conted/onlinecourses.cfm, click on About FP Online, then click on Demo Course.
To find a bunch of information for students and teachers of online learning at New Hampshire Community Technical College, go to www.nhctc.edu, and click on Online Learning.
The University of Washington offers some free online courses: http://www.outreach.washington.edu/openuw/
MIT has a huge project called MIT Open Courseware, which provides the basic materials used in 1700 courses, although I'm not sure if the courses are actually offered online.
Also, I wonder if any of the literature on home schooling would be useful to you--that might be another avenue for you to explore.
Hope this helps--good luck!
